1930's Companion Pattern

After a small break from sewing, I chose to work with a recently acquired pattern that only has 5 pattern pieces to work with.

This is the original size bow. I decided to make a smaller bow to see how I feel about it.

Behind the bow is the neck opening. I used two snap buttons as the closure.

The side pleat is formed by folding in the fabric and tapering at the top. I stitched the pleat at the top to secure it and also top stitched the pleat on the inside folds to keep the fold from losing the crease.
